How To Torque Jeep Grand Cherokee Lug Nuts

Using a torque wrench, set the wrench to the specified lb/ft settings as specified above. Tighten each wheel in a star pattern to ensure your wheels are tightened evenly. Once your lug nuts are snug, come back with your torque wrench and torque them down in the same star pattern, and you are all done. It is always a good idea to tighten them again after about 500 miles of driving to ensure none of your lug nuts have come loose. Under tightening and overtightening your lug nuts can cause irreversible damage to your wheel studs, causing you to have to replace the entire stud.
